A restless spirit
Story
You wake up in the middle of the forest with no memory of what happened,
Only the urge to run. Anywhere.
Moving aimlessly through the forest you know have to try to find out what is going on and survive.
Controls
The game is controlled fully with the mouse,
hover over the screen, if you can interact with some object the cursor will indicate so. If you click, the current action with that object will be performed.
By default that is 'interacting' which in this version mostly means 'going there'.
You can change the type of action you want to perform by using the mouse-wheel or holding the right mouse button and selecting the specific icon.
In this version however only the 'cog' => 'interaction' and 'eye' => 'inspection' ever do something.
DISCLAIMER 1:
This game is not finished by any stretch of imagination.
This is more of a concept of how an ai generated adventure could look and feel like.
Though this still took quite a lot of manual labor to get it to work.
DISCLAIMER 2:
Almost all assets for this project were created using some AI:
- Suno.ai for music.
- Chat GPT to help with "story" and scenery description
- ChatGPT-audio to create the audio comments
- Midjourney for the images.
In the zipped project contains a 'asset.csv' which links to the same image on the specific AI tool so you should be able to see the used prompts yourselves.
DISCLAIMER 3:
I failed to correctly link the audio appearantly.
All texts that appear in the white box when inspecting something, are supposed to be read out loud.

### STORY-SPOILER (not-implemented) ###
###
The game was supposed to lead you to the abandoned hut and first teach you there, that the area is haunted by a spirit. And the spirit is obsessed with movement, if you do not move/run for extended periods of time, it will posses/kill you.
The reason for the spirits behaveiour was supposed to be revealed in the swamp and the ancient temple, should a player acquire both pieces of information he would have the ability to free the spirit itself and unlock the happy anding.
In most cases the player was supposed to realize that he needs to run away from the place and after solving some hurdles that prevent him from running away on the main road initially he would end up in some fog and getting dizy after running for too long, implying that he had done the same already many times before and starts again in the forest.
Should the player stay on some area for too long the bad ending would trigger, where the spirit gets angry and posses/kills you.
This might also get triggered if you would fail certain puzzles in some way.
